The Mayan Textiles print publication is an 80-page hard-bound book featuring handwoven artisan crafts passed on through several generations of women in the Mayan Culture. This book covers the ancient history of Mayan woven arts as well as the tools and methods used to create them. Designing this book allowed me to find and create solutions to more advanced graphic design issues such as organization, hierarchy, and grid systems while successfully incorporating type system principles.
